Eddy Pump Technology has changed the dredging efficiency
This normally marks a new revolution in the dredging system since it changes the direction of pumping of high solids and other thick or rough materials. It can deal with both sludge and high solid content, has a flow rate of up to 4,000 gallons per minute, and is capable of reaching a height of over 200 feet. The size of this dredge is relatively small, with an area of about 650 square feet, but it performs very well. To deepen large areas of the sea without the help of staff on board, the system can be secured with 3 or 4 cables to the shore.
They are used to control four winches installed onboard the vessel along the dredging path, set the pump head, and regulate the pump’s RPM. The cable-based deployment method which is used in the dredge makes it possible for it to operate to a depth of up to one hundred feet.
